When are the event regisration deadlines?

To create a more accomodating environment, the CHJT keeps registration "OPEN" througout the season. This practice allows golfers to join beyond the first event of the season. We have noticed as events are contested, word of mouth sparks additional interest. In order to stay true to our goal of creating a competitive environment, we don't want to close the doors on any deserving golfers.

What if we do not use all of the entry fees paid at the start of the season?

Due to a number of reasons, there may be an instance where a member is unable to play. Prior to said event, send an email to This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it. informing our staff of the circumstance. If available, the credit can be applied to an upcoming event, otherwise the event fee will be refunded onto the credit card provided. It's that simple!

Will the membership package be mailed to our house?

Starting in June, the Membership Package will be available for pick up at each CHJT event. They will be held at the registration table.

Are there any 9-hole CHJT competitions?

Each event is an 18-hole or 36-hole competition. The only time we offer 9-hole events has been in the case of extreme/inclement weather.

Are GPS devices permitted for use?

With our desire to keep pace of play moving, GPS AND distance measuring devices are permitted for use in CHJT events.

Is there a discounted practice round rate?

No, there is not an official practice round fee. Rather, there is a junior rate available on all four golf courses. When booking a round prior to the event date, let the Cog Hill staff know you are a junior golfer and they will provide you with the most up to date rate information.
